  • Ergo Fundraiser

Our indoor rowing machines (ergos) are at the heart of training at Swan River Rowing Club. They are used across every squad, from juniors learning the basics through to high-performance athletes, and play a critical role in both day-to-day training and in structured athlete testing.

The current fleet of Concept 2 ergos are used by athletes daily and many are reaching the end of their useful lives. Upgrading these ergos will improve reliability and will provide enhanced connectivity (via the PM5 monitor supporting Bluetooth connections) across the new fleet, allowing athletes and coaches to better manage and monitor their ergo performance.

To maintain and improve our training standards, we are seeking to purchase a minimum of eight new ergos. This practical, high-impact investment will benefit the entire club and:

    • Ensure reliable, high-quality training equipment for all members
    • Support our Learn to Row and development programmes
    • Enable consistent performance testing and monitoring, particularly for high performance athletes
    • Reduce downtime and ongoing maintenance costs

We invite members, families, and supporters to contribute towards this upgrade. Every donation will directly support the purchase of the new equipment and help ensure SRRC continues to provide a strong, inclusive and high-quality rowing environment.

Your tax-deductible donation through the Australian Sports Foundation will make a tangible impact — whether it’s $50, $150, $500 or more, every gift gets us closer to our goal. Use the link below to make your tax deductible donation:
