Steak Nights

A long held tradition at Swan River Rowing Club, Steak Nights are held at the clubhouse on the first Thursday of every month. They are perfect for the hungry rower in the family and are always a friendly and social event where members are encouraged to bring along family and friends.

A large T-bone steak is served alongside delicious salads and fresh vegetables, all for $20 per head.

Please RSVP at least a week before to steaknight@srrc.org.au

President’s Fours

This is a social club regatta held in December, where crews of four are randomly selected. The diverse nature of the club means that you could be racing against an Olympian! Crews race a short distance and then enjoy a large breakfast and catch up with old and new rowing friends.

Sunday Breakfast

Many SRRC members enjoy rowing on Sunday mornings as they are regularly treated to an inexpensive and tasty cooked breakfast at the clubhouse. Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy a healthy and social start to the week.

Regattas

W.A. Rowing Regattas are held from April to September, with many of our active members taking part. Most of these are held at Champion Lakes with some long distance regattas held along the Swan River. The State Championships are held in late September, with our club traditionally doing very well at this event.

Annual Dinner

In November we recognize the year’s achievements through our annual dinner and awards ceremony. This is a formal occasion with a delicious three-course meal and guest speakers. It is also an opportunity to reunite with club friends and look to the year ahead.
